Part of wider regeneration

The Hendrefoilan Park development was previously Hendrefoilan Student Village, and was built in the 1970’s with capacity for 1644 students over a 20-acre site. With a shop, launderette, and pub, plus a dedicated bus service to the university campus – Hendrefoilan Student Village provided a complete, self-contained accommodation which was hugely popular.

In 2013, St. Modwen Homes acquired the land, and fast forward to 2016, Hendrefoilan Park was born – a brand-new housing development featuring a wide range of 3, 4, and 5-bedroom homes. The development underwent a huge amount of regeneration as considerable amounts of remediation work was needed before we could start building – with derelict student buildings needing to be demolished, and a new infrastructure put in place.

Hendrefoilan Park is now a beautiful development surrounded by mature woodland and teeming with local wildlife. It’s located close to the incredible Gower Peninsula – the UK’s first Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty – that boasts stunning  coastal walks and beautiful sandy beaches.
